What is a Login Page in Document360?
A login page in Document360 is a customized page that restricts access to your knowledge base content. It ensures that only authorized users can view the articles and information within the knowledge base. This is particularly useful for private or mixed-access knowledge bases where content confidentiality is crucial.
Customizing the Login Page
If your knowledge base is private or has mixed access, readers are required to log in with their credentials to view the content. Document360 allows you to customize this login page to match your branding and preferences.
Accessing the Login Page Design Settings
- From the Knowledge base portal, navigate to Settings > Knowledge base site > Customize site.
- The page holds all the basic site design configurations.
- From the Customize site page, click Customize site again.
- Select Login listed under Main pages on the left.
- A default login page design is available for you to customize.
Customization Options
You can choose from two options:
- Basic style: Customize just the default image.
- Custom style: Add Custom HTML and CSS. You can turn on the Preview toggle on the right to switch between code view and rendered view.
After making your changes, click the Save icon to save all your recent changes and Publish to activate the changes on the Knowledge base site.
